In winter 2019, I graduated from the University of Basel with a Master's degree in Psychology. Currently, I am completing a training in the direction of sports psychology.

My personal connection to sports psychology comes from equestrian sports, which I have been addicted to for many years. In riding, but also in everyday life, I have always noticed how strongly my state of mind and my thoughts influence what I do and how I behave. I wanted to learn more about this and in my studies I learned how to unlock the potential of these mental processes. As part of the Beyond Sports team, I want to accompany top athletes on their training paths.

As a sports fanatic and footballer for over 20 years, I am proud to be able to support prospective and active top Swiss sportsmen and women on their way. I was allowed to gain the US college experience myself when I spent a year at UCSB in California, and I cannot emphasize enough how important this time was in my development. With my professional experience in strategy, business model innovation and commercialization, I contribute to the long-term success of Beyond Sports.

Born and raised in Grône (Valais), I played for 14 years as a professional tennis player on the ATP Tour. During this time I achieved the highest double world ranking of ATP 32, was a member of the Swiss Davis Cup team for 7 years and an active member of the ATP Players' Council for over 10 years. After the end of my career, I worked for Swiss Tennis for 8 years, first as Head of Youth Development and then as Head Coach. Since a few weeks I am now working as a coach for the Swiss youth hope Leandro Riedi and as a partner at Beyond Sports. Thanks to my wealth of experience, I can help and support athletes in all phases of their careers.
